LSG were completely outclassed by Mumbai Indians in the IPL Eliminator, hammering them by 81 runs thanks to a brilliant five-wicket haul from young pacer Akash Madhwal.
Mumbai Indians were 182 for 8 in 20 overs and looked 15 runs short considering Lucknow’s explosive batting prowess, but Madhwal’s incredible figures of 3.3-0-5-5 and captain Rohit Sharma’s leadership led to some brilliant performances. Poor fielding got Gautam Gambhir out of the team for 101 runs. In 16.3 overs.
