In a recent interview, Priyamani expressed her appreciation for working with the superstar on a special song, which featured in the film Chennai Express.
Before making her Bollywood debut with the popular Amazon Prime series The Family Man, Priyamani gained recognition for her energetic dance number One to Three Four in Rohit Shetty’s action comedy Chennai Express.
In an interview, she shared her experience of collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and recounted an incident in which he generously gave her ₹300 during a song shoot at Y, which lasted for five nights. Priyamani expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, accepting his rightly deserved title as the Badshah of Bollywood. Despite being one of the country’s biggest superstars, he is dependable and approachable on set. His warm and down-to-earth nature puts everyone at ease, adding to his charm and leaving a lasting impression on those around him.
“From the day I met him, the day before the shoot, he made me feel incredibly at ease right from the start. Throughout the filming process, he is exceptionally kind, taking excellent care of all of us. To show his thoughtfulness, we even played Kaun Banega Crorepati on his iPad during breaks. He generously gave me Rs 300, which I still keep in my wallet. Their ability to create a comfortable environment is remarkable. He has a genuine sweetness, and as I mentioned earlier, he is undeniably one of the most popular superstars in our country,” she expressed.
“We shot this particular song for five consecutive nights in Wai, and it was an incredible experience. SRK, often referred to as the Badshah of Bollywood, holds the title for a reason. He is one of the most important superstars of our country. Remarkably, his immense success never affected his humble nature. During our shoot, he exudes genuine kindness and remains as down-to-earth as any normal person. He easily comforts everyone in his presence. It’s his unique personality and irresistible charisma that makes you adore him even more, appreciating the extraordinary human being he is,” Priyamani added.
